Dog training club info.
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in joining dog club.
Classes will be on Tuesday, and Thursday evenings (6.30-7.30) along with in group meet ups at least twice a month. Locations of these meet ups can vary.
Once people have paid the membership fees then they will be sent the link to join the private fb group and that is where links to classes and class agendas etc.
You will need to do bit of homework between classes and I encourage videoing these and posting them on the group to help everyone learn. Teamwork makes the dream work.
I highly encourage club members to meet each other in real life first practice sessions – that will keep you accountable and improve learning. These meet ups can be arranged on the fb group so that everyone remains safe. This is how we cultivate satellite learning pods, and those are how we will affect the most change.
All payments must be made via the paypal subscription link below. Please note The Dog Lady does not have access to your financial details and you can unsubscribe at any time. A monthly reconciliation will take place and only those who are up to date will receive the link to classes for the following month.
Classes will happen weekly except for over the Christmas period and 4 weeks annual holiday. These dates will be well communicated in advance.
From time to time I may have another trainer lead the class.
Each dog team (dog & handler) will learn at their own pace and that’s fine. Some will make it to gold in no time and others will take longer … That’s fine too- there is always another assessment coming up 4 months later. Some may want to do the training and not the assessment and that’s also fine. There is no pressure.
I will organise the assessments and judge(s)
There will be an additional charge for assessments as the kennel club charges €10/exam plus the judge needs to be paid for the day.
Eg. If 10 teams are ready for bronze assessment then the ikc will charge €100. Plus the judge charges €500 then the total of €600 will be divided across the 10 teams making the price €60 each.
If this is all ok with you, please reply to this message with your e mail address and we will forward your invoice and get things started.
Once we have set up your membership we will send you the invitation to join the group.
I’m so looking forward to working with each of you.
Warm regards,
Jill.
