Reactive Dog Club

Reactive dog club.

Does your dog react badly when they see another dog? Is your dog the one lunging and barking? Maybe their trigger is men or traffic ?
I know how exhausting it is living with a reactive dog.

Over the years I’ve come up with my own “lover not a fighter” protocol that works for the vast majority of reactive dogs (some dogs need a little extra help) but the vast majority of dogs can be helped by
– making sure they have no physical pain
– changing how we feed them
– making sure their biological, emotional and cognitive needs are met
– making sure our dogs feel safe with us by showing them that we will manage the environment so they don’t have to
– teaching excellent loose lead walking skills
– developing their focus on the handler
– teaching a rock solid “leave it”
– teaching a sustained nose touch and other useful behaviours
– counter conditioning to their trigger

With an online class every Wednesday evening at 7.00 and a twice weekly meet up (locations will vary) we can help you transform your walks from chaos to calm.
